Les Vignerons de Buzet are 160 wine growers and 90 employees working together within a cooperative set up. They are committing the local area to an innovative viticulture that "serves the living world" and offers consumers a consistently better wine. Our cohesion is our strength enabling an area such as ours to transform itself into a resilient, living, preserved and fertile land.

We believe that a dialogue with partners who share these same values is essential.

Since 2005, Les Vignerons de Buzet winery has been committed to ecological and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Our strategy: to move towards an ecological transition with the goal of eliminating all chemical inputs, preserving the living soil, and having a positive impact on our local area from an environmental, economic and social perspective.

The cooperative buys the castle of Buzet with its park, symbol of the territory and new image of its research in agroecology. The preservation of this heritage is entrusted to the association "Château & Fabriques de Buzet".

Our know-how

Thanks to our multidisciplinary skills and experience, we are one of the few French cooperatives to control all stages of its production, from the vineyards to the wine on the shelf.

Our agronomists provide the wine growers with technical support and human resources as they undertake their agro-ecological transition with the aim of preserving the living soil and having a positive influence on our local area from an economic, environmental and social perspective.

They provide advice and technical training.  Along with the wine growers, they are committed to sharing and passing on their wine growing heritage. They apply their expertise to bring out the full potential of each plot of vines and to select the grapes according to the character of each wine being produced.

As soon as the harvested grape are brought in, our œnologists set to work. They transform the carefully-selected grapes into wines exhibiting an array of colours, aromas and flavours. The vinification, ageing, bottling… right up to the packaging of the finished wine, every operation is carried out on site, by our team.

Our wines communicate our values: those of a sustainable cooperative, rooted in its territory. Our wines are the expression of our ambition to make our local area economically, environmentally and socially vibrant.
